Mr. Ingram is a life-long Texan, born and raised in Dallas and currently located in Austin. He obtained his Mechanical Engineering degree from Texas A&M University in 1988. He began his forensics career as a NASA contractor involved with analyzing test and flight failures of the Space Shuttle. Following his work with the space program, he obtained his Professional Engineering (PE) license and Accident Reconstruction (ACTAR) certification.

Mr. Ingram started Recon Engineering, Inc. in 1999 in Houston with a focus on Mechanical Failures and Auto Accident Investigation and Reconstruction. He has continued to keep pace with the evolving technologies of the industry to include “Black Box” (CDR) and “Infotainment” system download capabilities.

While located centrally in Austin, Texas, Recon Engineering regularly provides services in Dallas, Houston and San Antonio, as well as in West Texas, East Texas and the Valley.
